As the holiday season approaches, we hope this message finds you well.
At the Seneca Student Federation, we are reaching out to you, to join us in making a significant impact on our student community through the "Share What You Can Spare" holiday food drive, from December 1st to 13th.
The holidays are a time of joy, giving, and coming together to support those in need. This year, we've witnessed an increased demand from our students for our Food Bank service with over 1,100 bookings made per month.
In response to this, we are launching a college-wide initiative to gather non-perishable and non-expired food items for our SSF Food Bank. Your involvement can make a tremendous difference. Each contribution adds to the collective effort that will bring relief and joy to students experiencing food insecurity.
Drop-off points will be conveniently located across all campuses, making it easy for everyone to contribute.
Newnham: Outside the SSF office (F1525), the Service Hub, and Welcome Desk in Building A
Seneca@York: At the gym entrance near the Cafeteria, outside the SSF office (S2014), the Service Hub and in front of the Library
King: SSF Office: SSF office in Magna Hall (MH1500), the Service Hub and outside GH2109 (Garriock Hall)
SIA: SSF Office (Room G-17) and the Service Hub
Let us show the strength of our Seneca community and make this holiday season a time of generosity, compassion, and unity.
Thank you for considering this initiative. We appreciate your dedication to our community, and we look forward to your support.
