Certification Institute of Canada, in collaboration with Seneca Student Federation, is offering the PMR exam at a highly discounted price of $58 plus HST for Seneca students. The price includes one attempt at the exam and access to the XperienceED online practice material.

How long do I have to complete the exam?
You must complete the exam by the end of October 2026. Select a date early on as the sessions fill up quickly.
Generally give yourself 2-3 weeks to go over the material before you do the exam, unless you have expertise or have taken a course.
Offered by the Project Management Institute, the PMR credential is highly sought by employers, no matter which program you are in or the career you choose.
PMI Project Management Ready gives students exposure to the concepts and field of project management and the tools to apply this knowledge to a wide range of career paths.
Upon successful completion of the PMR exam, you will earn a digital badge in addition to an official certificate. These can be displayed prominently on your resume, LinkedIN profile, and other social media channels.
Completion of the PMR credential does not count towards any course credits at Seneca.
No refunds will be issued once registration is received.
Spaces are limited for each session offered. Sessions offered frequently at the Newnham Campus on weekday evenings or Saturdays.
Once you have registered and paid for the exam, you will receive instructions via email on how to book a time for your exam, become a Certiport member, and how to access the XperiencED practice system. All exams take place in-person at Seneca.
