My name is Talia Ghalayini, and I’m honoured to serve as your SSF President. Through my previous experience within the SSF, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with students hearing your concerns, advocating on your behalf, and contributing to meaningful improvements. I step into this role with both experience and a strong sense of responsibility.
I want to be transparent: student life today comes with real challenges. Many of you are managing academics alongside work, financial stress, and personal commitments. That’s why the SSF is focused on building a better student experience through memorable events, meaningful connections, and resources that support both your well being and your success.
Advocacy will continue to be central to our work, both within Seneca and externally. Students deserve to be represented in the spaces where decisions are made, and I am committed to carrying your voice forward.
The SSF is something you’re part of not just something you hear about. A space where you feel comfortable speaking up, getting involved, and knowing your voice matters. This is your student federation, and it should reflect your needs.
