Security Guard Training
This course is offered through Security Guard Training (SGT), Ontario’s leading provider of online training for the private security and investigations industry.
Course Process
- Once registration is completed and payment is received, your information will be processed after registration closes
- You will be contacted by Security Guard Course Inc. with further instructions during the following week
- Please allow up to three weeks from registration to course start
Important Certification Information
Please note that this training alone is not sufficient to obtain a security guard license. To become licensed, you must also complete:
- CPR and AED certification
Once all required components are completed, you may apply for licensing through the Ministry.
The SSF will also offer CPR training at a discounted rate. Please check our events calendar for availability.

- Price: $50 per student
- Eligibility: Must be a full-time student during the Fall 2026 semester
- Availability: Limited spots available each month
