Q: What are some of your goals for your role this term?

A:  I would like to focus on student engagement. I will take advantage of every opportunity to approach students and let them know about everything the SSF can offer.

I will also suggest implementing small changes and introducing new projects to make the organization, events, and services more accessible and relevant during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Q: What program are you in, and why did you choose this program at Seneca?

A: I chose Biotechnology because I discovered that my true passion was science and research in my last years of high school. Seneca had the best curriculum, offering unique courses that aren’t taught anywhere else. The labs are excellent, and the School of Biological Sciences and Applied Chemistry has the best reputation among companies in the GTA.

Q: What are the top three places you would like to travel to once the pandemic is over?

1. I would like to visit my family and friends back home in Colombia. I could use some tropical sunlight.
2. I want to explore British Columbia. I have always been fascinated by the west coast and all the incredible landscapes.

3. Since I was a little kid, I wanted to see the northern lights.  I heard that Whitehorse, in Yukon, is the best place in the world to do it.
